By becoming one of our guests on board The Paloma, you will be added to our mailing list and receive a discount promotion code. If you do not wish to receive subsequent communication, you may ask us to remove your details at any time. Please advise us accordingly.


The terms and conditions of your reservation come into effect once your deposit is paid. The contract you enter into will be between yourself and The Paloma cruise. Your reservation is confirmed once your deposit has been received.


Cancellation by guests

Any cancellation should be referred to Paloma Cruise sales office in writing by email, following these below terms.

Sharing – from 1 to 5 cabins:

More than 14 days before check-in: No cancellation charges
Less than 14 days before check in: Charge 100% of total rate
No-Show: charges 100% of total rate

Charter/ Sharing from 5 to 10 cabins:

More than 30 days before check-in: No cancellation charge
From 30 days to 15 days before check-in: 25% of total rate
From 14 to 5 days prior to check-in: 50% of total rate
Less than 48 hours prior to check-in: 100% of total rate
No-Show: 100% of total rate

2. Cancellation by Paloma Cruise

We reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances like: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism, or order from the Local Authority. We have to cancel your trip due to bad weather conditions to guarantee the safety of tourists. Following policies will be applied for bad weather : 

  • If the cancellation is informed before guests leave Hanoi to Halong Bay( and guests have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
  • If the cancellation is informed during the trip (guests have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong…): Only the actual fees of these services will be charged and we will refund whole remained amount.
  • If the cancellation is informed before 8:00 a.m the trip is cut down from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night. 
  • If the cancellation is informed when our guest  already spent 1st night + 2nd day activities on DAY CRUISE (Sunset) until 3:00-5:00pm will be charge 75%  package 3 days 2 nights. 

The cancellation is announced ONLY by Quang Ninh Local Port Authority and often in short notice of time. Therefore your understandings in these situations are highly appreciated.


Under 4 years old: Free of charge in a sharing cabin with 2  adults
Over 4 – 11 years old sharing cabin with 2 adults: 75% of adult’s charge


The cruise provides shuttle bus services (from Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi) at an extra charge. Please contact the cruise to arrange or ask more info about the pick up service.

Compulsary surcharge for Occasional Events, including Christmas Eve (24th Dec), New Year Eve (31st Dec) and Vietnam Tet Holiday.

A 24-hour advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number/ ID number, and visa expiry date for all passengers. Upon check-in on board, guests are required to present a valid passport or ID.

Children whose travel documents are attached to the parent’s passport, must be accompanied by said parents.

If you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian), please inform the cruise at least a week before departure.

Cruise itineraries and schedules are subject to change, depending of the weather and operating conditions.
